Nodejs Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to take charge of backend development. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing backend services and APIs that support our mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js
Develop robust authentication and authorization systems
Manage database design and queries (MongoDB / Firebase / PostgreSQL)
Optimize application performance and ensure data security
Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., email, SMS, payments)
Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
Collaborate with frontend developers to support mobile integration
Deploy, monitor, and maintain server-side applications (Heroku, AWS, or Vercel)

Requirements

3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js
Proficiency with Express.js, MongoDB, or similar NoSQL/SQL databases
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and middleware
Experience with Firebase (optional), cloud functions, and real-time services
Familiar with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Familiarity with Git workflows and Agile methodology

Nice to Have

Experience with GraphQL
Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions)
Ability to build an admin dashboard or backend panel
